FloodCert Ltd provides specialist flood risk expertise, combining hydrological science, engineering knowledge and advanced flood modelling to improve understanding of flood resilience and property-level flood performance.
Founded by a Chartered Civil Engineer with a PhD in Hydrology, FloodCert brings together experience from both engineering and insurance perspectives — including evaluating catastrophe flood models, analysing large-scale flood risk datasets, and supporting clearer decision-making on flood risk.
FloodCert is developing capability to support the emerging Flood Performance Certificate framework in the UK, providing independent technical assessments and additional insight to complement future flood resilience and risk management approaches.
Assessments will combine desk-based analysis, flood model data and targeted property-level evaluations to provide clear, evidence-based information on flood risk, resilience measures and potential improvements.
